The Picture of Community

The vision is ambitious, yet deeply grounded in principles that are both timeless and forward-thinking. Our goal is to create a healthier, more connected community—one that embraces nature, sustainable living, and multi-generational collaboration.

The Dream: A Healthier, Community-Centered Lifestyle

At the heart of this vision is a community of families working together to build a better, more sustainable future. Imagine a central hub—a community center surrounded by a thriving garden, orchard, and greenhouses where individuals and families can come together, share meals, learn, and create. This space will include a workshop, a kitchen, and an area for entertainment, fostering connection, creativity, and well-being.

Each family would live in a multigenerational home designed for maximum efficiency, promoting energy independence and reducing environmental impact. In addition, we envision living spaces above separate garages, as well as small, community-run rental units, and even an area for camping as a form of revenue generation. The homes will be built with sustainability at the forefront, designed to minimize energy consumption and maximize self-sufficiency, embodying the very principles of permaculture.

The entire community would be rooted in the values of health, sustainability, and collaboration. By building this lifestyle, we aim to reduce the risks of disease and sickness—creating a model for future living that promotes well-being from the inside out.

Why This Project Matters

Our vision is not just about building homes; it’s about building a way of life. In today’s world, where disconnection and environmental degradation are rampant, the need for sustainable, community-focused living is urgent. This project is designed to address both of these issues by providing a solution that fosters better health, stronger communities, and a more harmonious relationship with nature.

By utilizing permaculture principles, we can create a living environment that is self-sustaining, reducing reliance on external resources and minimizing waste. This project could become a flagship model for future developments, showcasing the possibility of living in harmony with nature while maintaining a modern, comfortable lifestyle.

The Opportunity: A Sustainable, Scalable Model

The financial requirements for this venture are well within reach. We aim to build a community that houses at least 12 families for less than $10 million. The project is not only a social experiment but also a scalable model that could be replicated in other regions. As demand for sustainable, eco-conscious living continues to rise, this community would position itself as a leader in the field.
